Sir Richard May Trust Launch Party - held in the River Rooms of the House of Lords on Thursday 28 February
On Thursday 28 February the Launch Party of the Sir Richard May Trust was held in the River Rooms of the House of Lords. The event was well attended, with 150 guests arriving over the course of the evening. Speeches were given by Helena Kennedy QC and His Excellency Judge Kevin Parker Vice President, International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia. A substantial sum was raised to contribute to the work of the Sir Richard May Trust. The Trustees would like to thank all those that attended the event for making it such a succesful evening, as well as thanking the speakers and Lord Irvine of Lairg for making the River Rooms available to the Trust.
